Lake Powell- The Only Way!

Lake Powell is beautiful no matter how you see it! However, when you stay on a houseboat up a narrow canyon, on a full moon night, looking over the calm lake, there isn’t much that can beat it. Enjoy 3-7 days on a houseboat on Lake Powell. Whether you water-ski, sightsee, hike slot canyons or relax, the whole family will have a great time. The contrast of red rock on blue water, against blue skies will definitely bring you back year after year.

Itinerary
Day 1

Follow the main channel of the Colorado River up stream to one of the many canyons of the lake. From Wahweep, there are many good canyons off of Padre Bay.

Be sure and anchor in good and solid just in case an afternoon wind picks up.

Day 2

If you have a motorboat, keep the houseboat at one location and go exploring in the motorboat.

Option: You may want to move to a different location each day to see a new part of the lake.

Day 3-7

Just repeat every day. Enjoy the warm water, hot sun and beautiful scenery.
